Since the 1st of October, Mauritius is back open with less restrictions after such a long time...
The closure has been of big impact for me and my business! We've had two full lock downs since March 2020, for nearly 6 months I had to close my restaurant + all contracted food orders were cancel!!! Just Imagine!
Thanks to the support that I have from my sisters, mom and big brother, I survived...beautifully I can say! They are always here for me and this is reciprocal!
ZERO REVENUE FOR MORE THAN 8 MONTHS!!!
Now that Mauritius is opening back as a 'near normal', business is taking up...slowly but surely!
So today after a very long time I went to make a food delivery in the southern part of the island, at Mahebourg! A coastal village found just 5 minutes away from the airport but 40 minutes drive from my place!

I took this photo when starting my drive from my place - The sky was cloudy and we had some intermittent rain and it is still raining right now!

But once I was nearby the airport of Mauritius, it was a completely different weather! I started to see a clearer sky and sun shinning!

My blog is quite full of the different travels I made to that part of the island...Before Covid19, I was going there minimum once everyweek for delivery and I was sharing a lot on my blog!
Well...I just love travelling over there...the beauty around is simply amazing and worth the drive!
Back home for lunch - Homemade Fried Chicken!!!
I came back home at around noon and went directly to have lunch! My wife prepared a delicious meal that we all enjoyed!

I don't know if she took photos of the recipe she made, it came out very delicious...well crispy on the outside, juicy inside and not a single trace of blood on the bone! Perfect Fried Chicken!

It was really very long ago that we got super busy at the restaurant...today it was fully booked with 3 big tables and each one had different special menus that we create on the spot!
It was a 3 hours long marathon in the kitchen...but fully satisfied when you get the feedback that everything was perfect from everyone!
It is only now that I came back home...a little tired but have to check my blogs first and then I can relax a little bit!
I just hope that I can manage to at least get back to 50% of what I was earning before Covid19 and gradually increase, well...well...no one can predict what will the situation be, specially with this virus!
Hoping for better days!
If only...if only...my daily blogs start earning me twice of what I am getting these days...more than half of my problems would be solved!
Let's hope for some miracle...we never know, isn't it!?
