Dining At the House Of Lechon In Tagbilaran

Lechon Baboy, or Roast Pig, is the all-time favorite of most Filipinos. Due to its excellent flavor and crispy pork skin, it is one of the classic delicacies in the Philippines that is also a tourist favorite.

One of the attractions of the events occurring across the nation is this Lechon Baboy. The crispy skin of the Lechon, coated in a tasty sauce, is the dish's best feature.

Perhaps the Lechon Capital of the Philippines, Quezon City, and Cebu City are well known for their mouthwatering Lechon.

During our trip to Bohol, we dined at one of the native and cozy restaurants in Tagbilaran, the House of Lechon. It is a branch of Cebu’s juiciest Lechon Baboy at the heart of Bohol.

It is not only sumptuous dining but, at the same time, meeting the best traders I have known. Many months ago, I invested in MetaTrader 4 and 5 through HotForex. Yes, I gained from my USD investment, but four months ago, I withdrew because I had to use the funds for my personal needs.

Tagbilaran’s House of Lechon has a rustic yet refined feel. Some menu items, including their famed pork, are prominently displayed on the interior and exterior.

The lights were already on when we arrived at 5:00 p.m., and there was a big restaurant name by the side of the major road, so guests and visitors won't miss it.

Although the timber and construction materials look fine, the roofs are created beautifully by the owner of local native materials with a blend of elegance, the restaurant has good air conditioning, but there are lovely, big lights hanging from the high ceiling so that you won't feel hot or muggy.

We may have arrived there when it was almost evening, and it was also raining, but I was also curious about how well it gets during the day.

They have their comfort room section with perhaps two cubicles for the men and women, and the furnishings appear reasonably fresh. This corner here, with the elegant designs, was my favorite spot.

Since there were teams everywhere, it was easy to find the crews. In the picture below, you can see that they were busy preparing the orders at the tables.

All of the employees were from Bohol. All staff was enthusiastic about offering assistance and service. They were simple to locate and provided prompt customer service.

I am not sure if the prices are the same at other House of Lechon locations because I have not eaten there, but for a group meal, we paid more or less Php 2,000, which was not bad. Here are the foods that we ordered:

This food had a crunchy outside and a very soft interior. By the way, I initially mistook the plate for being made of natural materials when it was plastic with raw banana leaves.

I don't remember the exact price, but this is the regular size. I had hoped for a larger serving, but there was no problem, for not one enjoyed it.

One of my favorite meals is sisig. Sisig is a dish that many Filipinos particularly enjoy. How is sisig cooked and prepared?

When preparing it at home, the pig's head is first shaved to get rid of its hair. To further soften the beef, it is then stewed. The head is minced, then seasoned with lime, soy sauce, and onion. The sisig is recooked until the meat is thoroughly heated. Some chefs add beef brain or chicharon to the sisig.

Sisig is a popular dish among drinkers and is frequently consumed as a pulutan or pica-pica. It is typically packed with eggs, chile, and other ingredients and served on a sizzling dish.

In addition to being served as pulutan, sisig is also a food. Sisig is a popular Filipino delicacy that has ingrained itself in our culture. If you give it a try, you won't regret it at all. And definitely, the sisig of Tagbilaran’s Lechon was so delicious.

Of course, baked scallops are a must because I enjoy this. The cheesy fillings made my heart melt, and I am delighted.

Additionally, there were a lot of cups of rice because, for Filipinos, rice is a need. A dish of soup and two pitchers of various tropical, cold drinks were also present.

This restaurant is undoubtedly a nice place to spend time with the family over supper because everyone was happy with the cuisine and service. The darkness prevented us from seeing anything in particular.

If you ever find yourself in Bohol, I urge you to try dining at Tagbilaran’s House of Lechon. Everyone is optimistic that this restaurant is full of relaxation and enjoyment. We'll go there once more when I am back in Bohol.
