CREATIVE COOKING STRAIGHT FROM THE GARDEN!

This was soooo good!

I'm a resourceful chef. I like to get creative and use what's on hand. Usually, I pull it off and something delicious is created. Because I've been doing it for so long, I'm actually getting pretty good at it. In this post, I'll share some photos highlighting a recent meal we enjoyed.

The goal was to use our large Malabar Spinach leaves as a wrap for some "carp salad," which is basically a tuna salad substitute. With some Egyptian Walking Onion Greens, Elephant Garlic, fresh Onions from the garden, Homemeade Pickles, and Purslane, I made a very tasty carp salad. Then, I took our first Snake Gourd of the year and cooked it up, and the Little-Peppers picked a bowl full of Thornless Blackberries. The end result was incredible! We also featured this meal in a recent video, but not everyone enjoys videos, so here's some photos of the meal in the making, and the final result. Enjoy the photos.
