It often happens that you do not use the whole egg during the preparation of various foods, there are always egg whites to use, it is important to know how to use them. I often use them in preparation as a sweet treat.
There are various variants of how to prepare macaroons, in fact how to get the mixture, I personally like a cold mixture I do not cook on steam or with sugar syrup, but I must admit they always turn out delicious and very creative
INGREDIENTS:
- 200 g of sugar
- 4 egg whites
- if someone likes coconut, almond or to taste it can be added as a third ingredient
PREPARATION:
Put the egg whites in a deeper bowl, gradually add sugar and stir until the mass becomes very firm.
When you get a completely solid mass, line the pan with baking paper, then add the egg white mass to the syringe and make the desired shapes.
Turn the oven to 180 degrees, because macaroons are not baked but dried, when you are done with shaping, put them in the oven and dry for almost about 40 minutes, depending on the oven!
When they are done take them out and serve, of course to cool a bit.
