How to Make Healthy Fried Noodles (Mie Goreng)

Indonesia has many unique foods. One of them is Fried noodles. In almost every region, they had different kinds of ingredients and different names. Indonesia has instant noodles with a famous brand, "indomie". Almost everyone loves these instant noodles.

In Korea these instant noodles are hard to find. Even the cost was high. There are some youtuber Indonesia to tell if the "indomie" taste is different from those sold in Indonesia. "Indomie" has an Indonesian flavor. Surely would be hard to imitate by any other brand.

Today, I really want to eat “Indomie”, but I still have other types of noodles that are healthier. "Indomie" have high in calories. When consumed too often, it is dangerous for the body. So, I thought of making my own version of fried noodles. Are you curious about the fried noodles I made?

What the ingredient

  1. Instant noodles. I used the noodle with a label "lemonilo" but without the seasoning involved.
  2. Chinese cabbage. I use 4 sheets of cabbage in large sizes.
  3. chicken sausages
  4. Fish cakes. In Indonesia it is commonly called "otak-otak"
  5. Chickens
  6. One tablespoon oysters
  7. One tablespoon chili sauce
  8. One tablespoon sweet sauce
  9. Half a spoon of honey
  10. Powdered pepper
  11. mushroom broth
  12. Garlic
  13. Onion
    15 eeks.
    16 Oil, I use canola oil.

How to create

  1. Wash all the ingredients. Slice up all the ingredients according to taste.
  2. Boil 2,5 cups of water in a large saucepan over high heat. Wait until the water boils. Add the disc of dried noodles into the saucepan. Wait until the noodle are cooked. After two minutes, when the noodles softened and come apart. Pull the noodles from the pan and put them in the bowl.
  3. Heat the pan and used oil to taste. When it's hot, put Onions, garlic and leeks. As soon as it smells good, put some sausage and fish cake. After halftime put the vegetables. Wait a few minutes till the vegetables wilt.
  4. Then input boiled noodles. Pour some water and add some seasonings. Stir it up evenly. Wait five minutes until the seasoning seeps well.
  5. Turn off the frying pan and the Fried noodles ready to be served
