Good morning, good afternoon and good evening Hive friends in the @foodiesbeehive community, I hope you are having a great weekend.

Today I want to bring you my experience in a place we visited for the first time called "Don Taco ", Mexican food, on a very nice date I had with my wife @zupasteleria ❤️.

On Friday of this Easter week we decided to do something that we had not done for a long time and that was to go to eat something at the mall. The original plan was to go for ice cream but we left home late and when we arrived the ice cream parlors were already closed so we decided to have dinner and try for the first time the Mexican food here in Antofagasta and we took the opportunity to go to "Don Taco". First we checked the rating on Google and it has 4.4/5.0 stars so it was a good option.

The place is nicely decorated, the atmosphere was nice, vibrant and cheerful colors and excellent music, in fact they had their own DJ which I noticed on my way out 🤣🤣🤣🤣.

As for the service, it seemed to me that this is the point that needs to be improved, at least one of the waitresses who served us did not seem very attentive.

As for the food and drinks, we started by ordering a couple of beers whose presentation and temperature were very good, it was "Austral" beer which is mild in flavor and was the right drink for everything we tasted.

As dishes we decided to try two typical dishes such as tacos and enchiladas. I ordered some pork tacos marinated in 12 ingredients that were a little dry and not so good because such a combination of flavors was not particularly to my liking, the tortillas were nice and fresh, all with a mild level of spiciness. In terms of presentation it was very good, with each taco in its separator, accompanied by a guacamole sauce with homemade chips with a perfect crunchiness.

My wife ordered some chicken Enchiladas that were excellent with a very tender and soft chicken bathed in a very spicy melted cheese sauce that really made everything stand out for the best, a wonderful dish. They came in a nice presentation in a cast steel pan to keep them warm, accompanied by perfect home fries. Good thing I still had beer to get over the burning in my mouth after eating so much spicy food because the enchiladas were really delicious and I didn't hesitate to accept one from my wife 😋🤘.

To finish she wanted to try a "Margarita Horchata" which I also tried and I can tell you that it is very tasty, it has a lot of ice chips a little bit bigger than the slushy ice creams apart from having evaporated milk and condensed milk so you could say that finally we did get ice cream but with tequila 🤣🤣🤣🤣.

As a conclusion we will definitely go back to "Don Taco" to try other things on the menu that looked interesting. It was a super nice experience, we had a great time and as always I loved going out with my wife and enjoying her pleasant company ❤️.

Buenos días, buenas tardes y buenas noches amigos de Hive en la comunidad de @foodiesbeehive, espero se encuentren pasando un fin de semana excelente.

Hoy quiero traerles mi experiencia en un local que visitamos por primera vez llamado "Don Taco", de comida mexicana, en una cita muy linda que tuve con mi esposa @zupasteleria ❤️.

El viernes de esta semana santa decidimos hacer algo que teníamos bastante tiempo sin hacer y eso fue ir a comer algo en el mall. El plan original era ir a comer helado pero salimos tarde de casa y cuando llegamos ya las heladerías estaban cerradas así que decidimos cenar y probar por primera vez la comida mexicana que hay aquí en Antofagasta y aprovechamos la oportunidad de entrar a "Don Taco". Primero revisamos la calificación en Google y tiene 4.4/5.0 estrellas por lo que era una buena opción.

El local está muy bien decorado, el ambiente era agradable, colores vibrantes y alegres y excelente música, de hecho tenían su DJ particular del cuál me di cuenta ya de salida 🤣🤣🤣.

En cuanto a la atención me pareció que es el punto que tienen que mejorar, al menos una de las mesoneras que nos atendió no se veía muy atenta.

En cuanto a la comida y bebidas, comenzamos pidiendo un par de cervezas cuya presentación y temperatura estaban muy buenas, fue cerveza "Austral" que es suave de sabor y fue la bebida adecuada para todo lo que probamos.

Cómo platos decidimos probar dos platos típicos como lo son los tacos y las enchiladas. Yo pedí unos tacos de cerdo marinado en 12 ingredientes que la verdad estaban algo secos y no tan ricos porque tal combinación de sabores no era particularmente de mi agrado, las tortillas estaban ricas y frescas, todo con un nivel de picante suave. En cuanto a presentación estaba muy bien, con cada taco en su separador, acompañado de una salsa de guacamole con unas papas fritas caseras con una crocancia perfecta.

Mi esposa pidió unas Enchiladas de pollo que estaban excelentes con un pollo muy tierno y suave bañadas en una salsa de queso fundido muy picante que de verdad hizo que todo resaltara para bien, una maravilla de plato. Vinieron en una linda presentación en una paila de acero fundido para mantenerlas calientes, acompañadas de papas fritas caseras perfectas. Menos mal todavía tenía cerveza para luego pasar el ardor en mi boca luego de comer tanto picante porque de verdad siendo así de ricas las enchiladas no dude en aceptarle una a mi esposa 😋🤘.

Para finalizar ella quiso probar una "Margarita Horchata" que también probé y les puedo decir que es muy rica, trae bastantes trocitos de hielo un poquito más grandes de lo que son los helados granizados aparte de tener leche evaporada y leche condensada así que se podria decir que finalmente si conseguimos helado pero con tequila 🤣🤣🤣.

Cómo conclusión definitivamente si volveremos a ir a "Don Taco" para probar otras cosas del menú que se veían interesantes. Fue una experiencia súper agradable, la pasamos muy bien y como siempre me encantó salir con mi esposa y disfrutar de su grata compañía ❤️.
