Yum! Yummy! It's delicious. Nah just kidding, just complimenting myself after cooking. It's self-love I guess because I had no intention of what it tasted like. lol

It's useful to learn how to cook food especially when there's no one to rely on. Even if there's someone to leave the cooking. It's efficient to know even just the simple ways of cooking. It's delicious or not, nothing can beat the feeling of eating your own food. You know what you're cooking, the process, and everything to make sure that food is not just delicious but healthy to eat.

I've been living most of my years alone. It's not that I know the types of dishes to cook but I can make sure to fill someone's stomach when I'm around. I learned them from my mother and the internet. At first, I was afraid if it tasted bad, it's normal when I don't have that confidence yet. Through cooking, cooking, and cooking, I became a cook in our house. Not always but I can be someone to rely on in terms of cooking in our house. Anyway, let's stop the chatting and let's start the cooking.

Before we start the cooking let's prepare the ingredients first. It's easy to cook when all the ingredients are ready.

the ingredients

Spices - (onion and garlic) The reason we have these spices is to make this dish have a good smell. That's my understanding about it.

Vegetables - (okra, eggplant, and squash) are the main dish. (no specific measurement)

Pork - to make the dish delicious. (no specific measurement)

I prepared all the ingredients except for the soy sauce, salt, seasoning, 2 glasses of water and cooking oil. There's no need to prepare them because it's easy to use them. By the way, there's no specific measurement of my ingredients because it's homemade. As long as it will be enough for the number of people who will eat in the family. Although, more pork is better because it gives a flavorful taste.

let's cook

Always remember not to use a stronger fire where we can control the heat, not burn what we will be cooking.

Place the pan above the fire. Wait until we can tell it's already hot.

If it's hot you can now put in the cooking oil but this time I placed the fats of the pork that served as the cooking oil. You can use different cooking oil, it depends on which you prefer.

No specific time to tell if the fats provide oil when we can see it. Just don't wait for the fats to burn or it will taste bitter. When there's cooking oil, place the spices. It's fine if you cook the spices for just 5 minutes. If it takes longer it will be burned.

After 5 minutes, it depends on you if the spices are good already, no need to wait for such time. Place the pork and cook it for at least 5 to 10 minutes. As always, it's your judgment if it's good to go. Place the soy sauces to strengthen the taste. Not to forget, 5 to 10 minutes or if it's cooked already.

Add the vegetables together with a small amount of water and salt with just half tbsp. No need to add more salt because we already placed soy sauce. It's alright if it's just 1 to 2 glasses because it's sauteed, not a soup. Also, it's fine if you add seasoning already.

All the ingredients were placed and we did all the processes in cooking. That's why there is no need to hold yourself and start singing while waiting. 10 to 20 minutes will be fine so that we can tell the food is ready to serve. Again don't rely on the time but use your judgment to tell if it's already cooked. Remember that we are not using the same amount of fire. The time will be just a reference but our judgment is effective in telling the dish is already cooked.

That's it, our cooking is finished.
