Cake, gluten free, no sugar, no flour [#6].

This is fifth day of me trying to use all carrots from freegan hunt.

Sooo carrot πŸ₯• + banana 🍌 + oat's = picture below = cake.

I'm rarely using any scale when cooking/baking. So this time I wont make it too easy for You with grams.

Grate on grater carrots, less than a cup quantity.

Crush in a bowl bananas, about less than 2 cups quantity.

Mix bananas & carrots with ~about:

  • less than 2 cups of grinded the oatmeal,
  • one crested tablespoon of baking soda,
  • 1 tbs baking powder,
  • 1 tbs salt,
  • 1/3 cup any kind of milk (soy milk is best for baking),
  • 4 tbs of rise oil (πŸ’‘rise oil can can withstand the highest temperatures, without loosing its good values),
  • 1-2 tbs cinnamon (optional),
  • 3 tbs vanilla extract (optional),
  • 4 tbs cocoa (optional),
  • crushed walnuts, raisins, coconut (all optional),
  • I had date paste to make it sweat (5 tbs),
    or honey*, or agave syrup or sweetener like maltitol, maltodextrin, xylitol.

*πŸ’‘ honey looses its medicinal value when heated πŸ˜“

☒️ I discourage people of using white sugar, bad drug that abuses our reward system, fattening, highly addictive and main reason why we go so often to the dentist. Since I stopped eating sugar (almost year) everything taste more sweet now 😎

♨️Preheat oven to about 180 degree Celsius.

Bake for about 30-40 minutes, try not to open oven too often.

When You have too much grated carrots:

I grated more carrots πŸ₯• than needed.
Took them and put on the cardboard, that I put on the radiator.

After 1-2 days of drying they should be good as addition to soup for other day.
