Are you eating a balanced meal or a mixture of carbohydrates?.

Hope you have all been eating well and milking enough vitamins and minerals from your food.

Knowing the benefits of all the ingredients in your food is important.

As science has it all sorted out and you know which contains just what you need, eating the right portion of it is quite important as well.

Sometimes we are left with no choice but to deviate from this norm.
Just maybe you want to use the available resources to make a meal or probably you couldn't find what you need in the market.

Most times when I cook, I love to mix one carbohydrates with some proteins, possibly have these combinations

Rice and beans
Yam and Beans
Beans and Spaghetti etc

Mind you these are the commonest grains available in Nigeria

So for today my combination was Yam and Spaghetti

Both carbohydrates, I used palm oil and our local condiments to prepare this.

It was all about the taste and has remained the weirdest food combination I prepared for lunch yesterday.

But I guess it was food rightly prepared to delight the eyes and fill the stomach not for nourishment or maintainace of health.

Would you rather fill your belly or wait for a balanced meal and you can trust me on how this taste 😂😂😂
