My native chicken soup recipe a perfect dish for this cold weather

Hello hivers!!!!

How'dy everyone?
I hope you are all doing great today.We experienced a rainy January and sad to say that some parts of the country are experienced flooding right now.I wanted to complain about our place coz its so muddy and it really a struggle for us but then I realized and thankful that we only had a muddy path way we are still lucky that our place is not prone of flooding.

During this kind of weather ,a soup dish is what we need and for todays blog ,I will share to you my native chicken soup recipe which is our viand for our lunch today.

Ingredients

*native chicke meat
*Bottle gourd(upo in our dialect)or unripe papaya
*Chinese cabbage(or petchay)or you can use malungay or moringa leaves
*Salt and pepper to taste
*Species like ginger,onion leaves ,lemon grass
*Bell pepper(we only had a siling labuyo)
*Water

Procedure

Anyway ,the native chicken I used was raised by my mother inlaw .
First ,prepare all the ingredients needed and cleaned it.

In a pot with fire add a little amount of cooking oil and saute the ginger much better if you had some garlic and onion but we only had ginger available in our kitchen.

Then put the lemon grass and the chicken meat and stir it until the meat turned slightly brown.

And add salt and pepper then cover and add water .

When the meat is tender ,add the slice bottle gourd and cooked it for 1minute and add the chinese cabbage or petchay.

Add salt and pepper depends on the taste you like and serve it while its hot.
