Meatballs are foods made from processed chicken, beef or fish and mixed with tapioca flour, wheat flour, garlic and other spice ingredients.
Meatballs are now widely processed and modified in many forms so that they are not boring on the tongue of the people, especially in Indonesia. In any area we stop by, there are many meatball stalls with various flavors, shapes, and modifications that are neatly lined up with varying prices.
Now there are many processed meatballs that we can enjoy, for example, fried meatballs, grilled meatballs, tofu which contains meatballs, and many others.
However, from the many processed meatballs, meatballs mixed with a mixture of noodles, tofu, a little vegetables, and doused with hot broth, as well as additional tomato sauce, soy sauce and fine chili are still ranked first among Indonesian people.
At first, the meatballs were only round with nothing inside, but due to a lot of trade competition, they had to rack their brains so that their stalls were still crowded with customers and had their own characteristics.
During this holiday we went for a walk just to fill the void of time, and accidentally we found a new meatball stall in the stabat area. The meatball stall is on the side of Jalan Besar. And the name of the Meatball stall is Warung Bakso Dower.
It is said to be a Meatball Dower stall because this place provides all the meatball menus with a very spicy taste and many types of meatballs are available with a hot and appetizing meatball sauce dish.
There are several meatball menus in this shop, including:
- Lava meatballs, these meatballs consist of large meatballs containing a few pieces of cayenne pepper that make an extreme spicy taste in the mouth, plus a mixture of noodles, empty tofu, a little mustard and poured with hot spice sauce
- Meatballs with children, These meatballs consist of several pieces of small meatballs, and one large meatball which if in the middle, there will be several more small meatballs in it so this meatball is said to be meatballs with children.
- Meatball chicken noodles, this noodle is egg noodles mixed with pieces of soy sauce chicken or chicken stew, then mixed with a few pieces of meatballs plus a little mustard and bean sprouts mixture and doused with hot spice broth, very appetizing.
Actually there are many more meatball menus here, but we won't explain all of them, so you can come to this place yourself to enjoy how delicious the meatballs are here.
When eating meatballs you can also enjoy the fruit juices that are here at a fairly cheap price of Rp. 5000 or the equivalent of U$ 0.5 dollars. And for the price of meatballs from all menus, the price starts from Rp. 10,000 up to a price of Rp. 20,000.
Another characteristic of this shop is that you can see the fish pond next to the shop, then the spice sauce which does not contain too much micin, adds to the special taste of the meatballs in this shop.
