Feliz día amigos, el día de ayer estuvo de cumpleaños mi suegro y nos organizamos para pasar la tarde con él. Me correspondió llegar un poco más temprano para hacerle una pequeña pero rica torta.
A él no le gusta que le canten cumpleaños pero si le encanta comer torta por lo de tortas muy elaboradas no es lo que corresponde con él, le gustan mucho las de frutas o Vegetales por lo que decidimos que fuera de zanahoria que es muy rica y nutritiva.
Happy day friends, yesterday was my father-in-law's birthday and we organized to spend the afternoon with him. It was my turn to arrive a little early to make him a small but delicious cake.
He does not like to sing birthday but if he loves to eat cake so very elaborate cakes is not what corresponds to him, he likes a lot of fruit or vegetables so we decided that it was carrot cake which is very rich and nutritious.
Los ingredientes utilizados son:
250 gr. De mantequilla.
2 tazas de azúcar.
4 huevos.
2 zanahorias grandes rayadas.
3.5 tazas de harina de trigo leudante.
The ingredients used are:
250 gr. of butter.
2 cups of sugar.
4 eggs.
2 large shredded carrots.
3.5 cups of leavening flour.
Paso a paso - Step by step
1.- Batimos la mantequilla y el azúcar, hasta que se integre lo suficiente el azúcar con la mantequilla.
1.- Beat the butter and the sugar, until the sugar is sufficiently integrated with the butter.
2.- Agregamos los huevos y batimos nuevamente.
2.- Add the eggs and beat again.
3.- Hasta el paso anterior utilizamos la batidora eléctrica. Desde aquí en adelante utilizamos una paleta de madera y agregamos la zanahoria rayada y la harina de trigo previamente cernida, vamos alternando estos ingredientes.
3.- Up to the previous step we used the electric mixer. From here on we use a wooden paddle and add the grated carrot and the previously sifted wheat flour, alternating these ingredients.
4.- Como tenía en casa un poco de frutas confitadas y pasas, los agregué a la mezcla, batí un poco más y luego vacié la mezcla en una tortera enmantequillada y enharinada, para luego llevar al horno por 45 minutos aproximadamente.
4.- As I had some candied fruit and raisins at home, I added them to the mixture, beat a little more and then poured the mixture into a buttered and floured cake pan, and then put it in the oven for approximately 45 minutes.
Al pasar el tiempo correspondiente, estamos listos para admirar y luego degustar de una rica y esponjosa torta casera de zanahoria con pasitas y frutas confitadas, que le dan su toque especial.
After the corresponding time, we are ready to admire and then enjoy a rich and spongy homemade carrot cake with raisins and candied fruits, which give it its special touch.
Mi suegro estaba muy contento con la pequeña reunión y deseoso de comerse su rica torta pues quedó como le gusta.
My father-in-law was very happy with the small gathering and eager to eat his delicious cake as it turned out just the way he likes it.
