Chicken Basil In Parchment Paper

Have you been looking for a certain food with an easy preparation and has the best sensation of savory taste?
The answer will be this recipe that you can bake or steam, every bite will give you super herby flavor and the tenderness of chicken.
All you need is Parchment Paper but don't worry if you don't have it, you guys can use baking paper.

Ingredients:

7-10 boneless drumsticks - cut
2 handfuls of trimmed fresh basil
3 stems of fresh oregano-trim
The green part of 2 scallion-cut an inch
1/2 teaspoon of black pepper or as you prefer
Salt
Bay leaves

Seasoning:

The bottom part of 5 scallions
1/4 cup of raw almond (Due to my son allergic to almond so I use 4 macadamia nuts)
2 cloves of fresh garlic
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 thumb size of fresh ginger

Use a blender, blend all seasoning until it's smooth, then mix it to the chicken along with basil, oregano and bay leaves.
Wrap it in parchment paper, then bake or steam as you see on the picture below. Mine was steamed for 10 minutes using a pressure cooker because we were in a hurry for some hike to the Horsetail Falls (will be my next post).

Note: Make sure that your parchment paper is oven safe because some of them will produce smoke and affect the taste.

Just an update, do you know the bottom part of the spring onion is also a good part to make some seasoning and more tastier than shallot? This recipe proves it.
