Blog #126: The Second Time Around @ Felice Ristorante Italiano

Hey Hivers!

Happy New Year!

Today, I am going to share with you another food that I ordered in Felice Ristorante Italiano. Actually, this was my second time I dined in to this Italian Restaurant. After I tasted their food for the first time that was the time I started to crave some of their authentic Italian foods and decided to come back to the place.

When I went back there, it was far different from the first time I visited the place. It was already organized and by that time I had tried another best seller food and I had also tried a fresh beverage.

The owner personally toured me to another part of their garden and do you know what I have seen? A passion fruit plant and was already bearing fruits.

I was surprised when the owner harvested the ripe passion fruit and he requested his wife to make a passion fruit juice and give it to me for free. They were such a beautiful souls.

This is the fresh passion fruit juice they served me for free. They added it with some ice cubes to make it colder. It was definitely delicious. I really like the taste. Since I usually prefer a healthy food and drink so I had enjoyed the moment I drink the passion fruit juice. It was fresh and chemical-free. It was newly harvested from the backyard and there was no added sugar nor other preservatives on the beverage.

For my food, I ordered Lasagna. When the owner went down to their garden to pick some basil leaves to put it in Lasagna as topping, I accompanied her and took photo of her while picking some basil leaves.

What I love in this restaurant is that aside from the authentic italian taste, they have also used a fresh and a chemical-free homegrown herbs.

This is the Lasagna that I ordered. If you are a Lasagna lover well, you'll love this restaurant too.

The tomatoe sauce they have mixed in Lasagna was homemade, they just picked tomatoes from their backyard and make tomatoe sauce by themselves.

When the owner shared to me the way they eat the focaccia bread it created a little spark on me to try the way they eat it and after a while, I liked that too. The owner taught me to put a little olive oil in my plate and mixed it with a little salt and she asked me to dip the bread on it. It was absolutely delicious.
