collection of classic cutlery in a traditional dining place

Hi Hive Lovers

Out of curiosity, I stopped at a food stall in the middle of Kota Medan. Kota Medan is the capital of North Sumatra Province and one of the major cities in Indonesia. This dining outlet has a traditional design and an old-fashioned feel.

The dining outlet provides a combination of traditional and modern food menus, but the presentation still uses traditional equipment. The food that I ordered is a traditional food package and is very rare to get.

What really caught the attention of visitors there was that in one corner of this outlet with wooden walls, visitors could enjoy something unique, namely that there were antique and rare items consisting of old cutlery that were still well preserved. In addition to cutlery, there are also traditional lamps and a classic bicycle that is still well maintained.

The owner of the eatery is a man over 50 years old, and he says he is the third generation to have inherited all of the equipment. Unfortunately, he objected to me taking pictures, especially in front of his collection of classic cutlery.

All the equipment on display has not been used since 5 years ago to avoid damage and maintain its uniqueness.

There is one room where the walls and display tables are filled with various collections of old cutlery. I am not able to mention the names of the equipment one by one.

You can see it in the following pictures:

Hanging out there reminds me of my childhood in the 1980s. When I was 8 years old, I still often saw and used these tools at my grandparents' house. Entering this restaurant brings back old memories of my childhood.

In my country (Indonesia), the use of this classic cookware is very rare and becoming increasingly rare.

In your country, this kind of equipment is still easy to find, and can you specifically mention the names of these equipments?
