It's a tough time to be a small business. COVID19 regulations are putting a serious damper on the restaurant industry. I've been trying my best to support the local gems to help keep them afloat. Last week I went to The Plate for lunch with my mom and grandparents. I ordered the Eggs Benny with Lobster Cakes, and substituted real bacon instead of Canadian bacon.
This was a very delicious lunch and an awesome take on the classic eggs benedict. It consisted of hand-picked lobster rolled in panko bread crumbs over a Thomas' English Muffin with bacon, topped off with poached eggs and lobster hollandaise. It was served with a cup of tater tots. I cleared the plate. I look forward to trying more food at The Plate in the future!
