It has been a year since the last time that I spent some time with my college close friends. We took up the same degree program in college, but I am a year ahead of them. Our friendship started when we got to see each other during meetings when I was still an officer of our organization. We do have different circle of friends way back our college days, but we also have this kind of bond that's so genuine. One of our usual bonds is to eat together so we decided to have Samgyeopsal. Food is life! 😅
It took us some time to find a place to eat because most of the restaurants that offers Samgyeopsal are really full. We walked around IT Park Lahug, Cebu City and luckily after some time of searching we were able to find one that's not full yet. The staff welcomed us with their smiles on their faces. Monster Grill is a restaurant that offers unlimited rice and side dishes.
This was our first time to eat in this restaurant. I used to pass by here before but I haven't tried eating yet. I'm just happy that I got to have this first time experience in this restaurant with my close friends. Apparently, we were the last customer that was catered by them. It was a bit late that time and we thought they wouldn't allow us to dine already, but still they offered us the best customer service.
We discussed on the set that we wanted to have and then we ordered immediately. After a few minutes our food arrived. We were really impressed how accommodating they were to us.
After all of our orders were served, we started cooking then. One of the best parts that I love about Samgyeopsal is that we will get to enjoy cooking the meat dish and have a meaningful conversation with friends while waiting for it to be finished. I really live for beautiful moments like this.
I took some photos of my friends while we were having our catch up dinner. And oh, by the way my college close friends here are all the ladies in the photo. Two of my close friends brought with them their boyfriends and they eventually became my friends as well. I'm just so happy to see my friends getting the happiness that they truly deserve. One of my friends here and me are the only the ones who are single. Hahahaha!😂 However, I'm not sad at all if I don't have that romantic relationship for now, because I know that God is preparing something for me. I would definitely trust His timing.
After eating our dinner, we paid and went somewhere for a videoke and then we went home after that. It was indeed a memorable experience with my friends.
I will be sharing here their menu just in case you are also interested to dine here in the future. Their food is really good.
