Traditional Mutton curry Recipe “Bihari style”

Today I'm sharing my favorite non-veg dish Bihari style “Traditional Mutton curry “, for the mutton we chose young male goat meat , tender that it will melt in your mouth. Please go through this post and see all cooking 12 images and hope you all will like it.
Bihar is a state in northern India that is steeped in culture, royalty and history. As per state name dish pronounce as “Bihari style”.

MUTTON CURRY PREPARATION ITEMS

  • Mutton- 500g (with bone)
  • 350 gm onion (Chopped mid-size pieces)
  • 1 tablespoon Ghee(clarified butter)
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 2 tablespoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • 2-3 whole red chilies
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 2 bay leaves (Tejpatta)
  • 8 to10 black pepper seed
  • Cinnamon stick
  • 12-15 garlic clove & one inch Ginger(Make paste of it)
  • Mustard Oil , for cooking
  • Salt as per taste

Preparation Method:-

Step 1-

  • Make paste of garlic and ginger keep it on bowl
  • Took all powder in bowl and add water in to make paste and keep aside.
  • Chopped mid-size pieces of Onion

Step 2-
Heat the oil in pressure cooker on medium flame. Fry bay leaves and Add 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, black pepper seed, red chilies, Cinnamon stick and wait till the cumin seeds crackle.

Step 3-
Now Add sliced onions and fry it until it turns light brown.

Step 4-
Add Mutton and covered with lid on pressure cooker (just cover not pack it for whistle) . Fry it for around 20 minute on medium flame till no water remain coming from mutton.

Step 4-
Now add garlic and ginger paste in it and fry 4-5 minute than add all masala mix paste and fry for 5-7 minute more.

Step 5-
Now add 300 ml around water in it and tight the lid on pressure and keep for 15 minutes or till meat becomes tender cooked well.

Step 6
Now it's ready to serve.
