If you wish to eat Thai street food yet you do not want to eat a big portion, and that you wish to eat a lot of variety, this is the place for you.

šŸ“Location:
25, Jalan Prima Setapak 3, Taman Setapak, 53300 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur

It has been awhile I visited this shop. I used to come here weekly especially when my parents were around because they loved the small portion bowls of all the food here. It was like you could order varieties and yet wouldn't feel overfull. This one was my visit before the pandemic happened. Time flies and I almost forgotten about it until I saw it again when I went to stock up vegetables and pork nearby the shop.

Also, I have this heartbeat for Thai food ever since I went to Thailand for honeymoon. It was like 100% everything was delicious and yummy that I wished I had 4 stomachs and that I could eat a lot without gaining weight. Not to mention the people there are so friendly.

I remembered vividly it was after school, I came here with my eldest son and my husband. I remembered because one of the waitress talked with my son saying her daughter also studying at the same school as my son. That's the perk of wearing school uniform around. Haha.

We ordered their Thai green curry chicken with white rice, Thai fried rice, Thai pork satay, Thai pandan chicken and shrimp cakes. I love, love, love, green curry. We shared all the food together. Just like sharing is caring, you one mouthful, I one mouthful, those time before Covid19, we could share saliva without feeling scared. Lol.

I super love their green curry. It had that spicyness yet not overly spicy till couldn't eat and super appetizing. Even my son loved it.

The highly recommended food here was their pork satay, perfectly seasoned with a nice ratio of meat and fat pork, fragrantly BBQ-ed. Also coated with sweet honey, so yummy. Guess what, I did not have enough then we ordered moreeeee!!!

Another highly recommended food here was their pandan chicken. Pandan leaves, also known as screwpine, a fragrant leave is widely used in many Thai food and even Thai drink. So I guess Thai people are very fragrant. Hehehe. The pandan chicken was so yummy, the chicken was properly seasoned with spices and herbs and cooked nicely wrapped with pandan leaves. Totally blown away. I feel like eating pandan chicken now as I am typing this.

Their Thai fried rice could be tastier but good enough. If you do not like too salty food, you will like their version. But I remember the Thai fried rice at ate at Thailand was super appetizing and kick and so spicy that my mouth turned sausage, yet I wanted moreee! Such magic torture. Haha.
Nothing special about the shrimp cake and I would not order again. I felt we could get this at frozen section at supermarket and fry by yourself at home.

Halfway the meal, husband felt like trying their pandan kuih. The white cube dessert cooked by using coconut milk, used pandan leaves as mould. We got to try one each. This was nice too, wanted to order more but our stomach no more space. I had tried their sticky mango rice here too and was super delicious too. Too bad, no photo in my phone.

Lastly, before we left, we bought their famous Thai milk green tea. Super refreshing and the ratio of the ingredients was of good ratio. This drink was their famous drink that many young working adults and college students would buy a lot during their break.

Alright, I must make a visit to Thai Boy Street Food soon. I soooo miss their food!
