Food adventure resumed from husband is back!

Finally, husband was back from Philippines!

Myself and boys went to airport to pick him. It was an-hour drive from where we stayed, and we reached airport just on time when his plane landed at 10:15pm. What a drive and it was raining, so I drove so slow, but we made it!

The first thing husband did was to pack food for us. He knew we were craving for gyudon but it wasn't cheap, so we skipped the idea. However, while we were into our car at car park, he said he needed to do something and asked us to wait in the car. He came back with Mego Bowl of Gyudon yayyyy!!!!

Gyudon from Sukiya Tokyo Bowl and Noodle

This one was bought at this restaurant at the airport. The portion was so big it could feed 4 of us. So totally worth it at RM33. I wished we had this restaurant nearby where we stayed and husband just mentioned to us that there will be one soon at one of the malls here. Yay! Super stoked!

At Mid Valley Popcorn Bakery

The next day, husband needed to go to Mid Valley mall to exchange back all currency to Ringgit Malaysia, myself and youngest son tagged along while the eldest at school. It was super long queue at the currency exchange, my son and I went to the food court for a sit. I decided to grab some buns here to support them, as well as getting a coffee. I had soft spot for food business which had less crowd. Coming from food business background myself, I knew it was not easy. I bought quite an amount of buns from this shop. It has so many varieties.

We had tuna mayo bun, bacon onion, sugar butter and pineapple bun.

I shared the pineapple bun with my son, it was so soft buttery delicious. And the buns were not expensive!!! I was marvelled.

Husband came back from exchange currency and was hungry so he ordered a Hainanese chicken chop for himself.

Night's Dinner and Supper

By the time we reached home, I was already tired and did not prefer to cook. I ate the little leftover rice and ABC soup from fridge.

And my children had some frozen food which bought by husband in case I needed them when emergency hit, just heated them up. Eldest son ate briyani rice with red sauce chicken and youngest son ate spaghetti with buttermilk chicken. I would not recommend this for everyone because the frozen cooked food was salty. But it was certainly convenient.

We had some family time together, going through some cards my husband bought from Philippines. He supported one of the card collectors who had Disney collections and I picked these four. Thank you, husband!

My eldest son said he was still hungry! Lol!

Husband went out to pack food for him. But came back with quite alot of food. He bought grilled chicken wings knowing it was my eldest son's favourite, some gyoza and fried radish cake.

Told you, life is more fun when husband is around 🤭

By the time we finished our supper, I suddenly felt we ate too much!!!
