Hello, food lovers greetings today I made easy and simple fried chicken for the @qurator hive top chef challenge. It was a nice and quick recipe, These days i have a heavy load at work and not so much time to make food photos to post on the hive. But today I did it very simple and without stress.
Ingredients:
300 grams chicken filet
2 tbsp yogurt
2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp turmeric
2 tbsp lemon juice
3 tbsp rice flour
2 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
2 pinches of beetroot powder.
Oil for fry
In a bowl mix salt, turmeric, chili powder, and lemon juice.
Adding yogurt.
Mixed all together into a smooth paste
Added chicken (cleaned fat and made appropriate bits) to the spice paste. The paste is for 750 grams of chicken.
Added ginger garlic paste.
Coated all the chicken bites thoroughly with the paste. This is kind of marinade. Covered and kept in the fridge Went to work for 2 and half hours.
Afterwards came back home refreshed and started the next process.
Here is 3 tbsp rice flour and 2 tbsp cornstarch.
After mixing both flours 2 pinches of beetroot powder and 2 pinches of salt are mixed in the flour.
Now thoroughly coat the chicken pieces with the flour .
Warm oil in a pan.
Carefully put chicken pieces in the oil.
Fried them 70%. And took them out of oil
kept aside for around 2-3 minutes. i do this to keep them moist and crispy
Again the fried chicken pieces were put back in the hot oil and fried until they got crispy.
Here they are finished- crispy outside and soft and moist inside.
we ate some alone and some of them were chopped and mixed in boiled rice with ghee and cashew nuts
Thanks, @qurator for an easy and quick food challenge.
