THE Chicken Rice Shop

The jingle of this restaurant goes, "..... The Chicken Rice Shop, Chicken rice and more....."

I can almost hear this in my ears whenever I see this restaurant in any mall, that is how powerful their advertisement is.

And they actually live up to what they advertise! This is a very affordable restaurant serving really good food - THE CHICKEN RICE SHOP!

So sometimes after school and between classes, I bring my eldest to eat in any of their outlets because they have the RM10.90 value set with a variety choices of chicken to choose from and comes with a drink.

Today we ordered chicken thighs, one cooked with soya sauce and another was just steamed chicken.

They come with a yellow rice which I believe is infused with chicken broth.

There is also a bowl of salted vegetables soup.

Well accompanied by their garlic chili sauce and ginger paste, especially the ginger paste is the BOMB! It always elevates the taste of their rice to another level!

The shop actually looks simple but the colours are vibrant.

What is Chicken Rice and More?
Because they serve noodles soup and sour fish and many more. I used to very love their beef stew and also their sour vegatables but seems like they took it off the menu already. Let me show you how vast their menu is.

I actually forgot to bring my purse but I have my phone with me and was glad to see they accept all kinds of e-wallet.

However when I was about to pay, the cashier told me the system was down and could not accept some of the e-wallets so I had to download a new wallet that I have never used before to pay but thank God not much problem with that.

I SPENT ONLY RM20.95 FOR BOTH OF US! THAT IS ONLY USD5, PERHAPS? Told ya it is very affordable!! 😊 This is one of the shops that I will return for more. Wanting to try the dumplings the next time.
