How to cook chopsuey. A healthy mixed stir fry vegetables

Today I am going share with you on how to make the healthy stir fry mix vegetable for lunch. I cooked it today because we had a lot of meat since the past few weeks. We were not able to have vegetables since most of us in the family is not that fun eating and cooking unlike when it's really really meat.

Though this dish has pork and chicken in there but the most important thing is that we could have this one special meal for the family.

Chopsuey is a stir fry vegetable dish that is cooked with meat like chicken or pork or both. Some added shrimp and other seafood. It is is also an American Chinese cuisine.

Here's the main ingredients
1 medium size broccoli
1 medium size cauliflower
1 medium size carrot
1 medium size chayote
2 red bell pepper
1 large red onion
4 cloves of garlic minced
1/8 kilo pork
1/8 kilo chicken thigh
1 small pack of seasoning powder (magic sarap)
4 table spoon of fish sauce
1 table spoon of brown sugar
1 tsp of salt

Steps in cooking

1. Wash all the vegetables and meat. Then slice the meat into thin sizes, while the carrots and chayote into quarter size of each as well as the broccoli and cauliflower.

2. Boil the meat with 1 glass of water, then add 2 tbsp of fish sauce and half of the powder seasoning. Let it boil to cook the meat.

3. While it's boiling, add the red onion, garlic and red pepper. Mix well with the meat and then add the 1 tbsp of brown sugar. Cover until meat is tender.

4. When the meat is cook, add the vegetables and mix them well with the meat. Add the rest of the seasoning powder and another 1 glass of water. Cover and put in a low heat.

5. Add 2 tbsp of cornstarch with 4 tbsp of water. Mix well and add to the vegetables.

6. Cover for 2 minutes and our stir fry vegetable is ready to serve.
