Come let’s cook together-Healthy & Tasty Pasta !

Come let’s cook a healthy Pasta in the tastiest version ever.
It all started when I started dieting a year ago and craved for delicious food , it was then when I learned this amazing receipe from my mother.
Let’ cook together !

Ingredients
Pasta (Suji-non maida )
Water
Salt
Oil/Butter / Ghee
Flour
Magic masala / Pasta readymade Mix
Oregano
Chilli Flakes

Firstly , Boil the pasta on medium flame , here I have used trio coloured pasta , You can work on any shape and colour . This is my personal choice as I love this spiral shaped pastas .

Add 1/2 tablespoon of salt while boiling , it makes the pasta more yummy .
Once the pasta is boiling , cover it with lid and leave it for 15 mins or depends on the nature of pasta and temperature.

The pasta will look something like this ,once it is boiled . Remember do not overcook as it will be very soft in the next stage.

After the pasta is boiled, strain it using a large sized strainer and run water tap above it , this stops the pasta to get further soften . I washed it under tap as my tap served Drinking water but if you have washing water then pour water from your bottle or any container but only use drinking water.

Now take a pan aur any utensil which has a cover lid ! Pour 3-4 tablespoon of melted butter /oil/ ghee . I prefer Ghee as it healthy and a good option but you may use according to your convenience .

It’s time to add 3 tablespoon of flour , if you are not opting for a healthy option , you may use Maida . Now mix it well and cook it untill its golden brown in shade.

The consistency will get harder due to flour and butter’s mixture , the pasta will be more creamy . Now add , milk along with some cheese (slice them up) .
Once everthing is getting disolved , you will see something like this (below).

The lumps are a sign of the cooked batter becoming creamy , once it is all disolved (continously stir) , add Magic masala .
In India we are huge fan of spices , so if you are on the other side , you can opt for minimal salt or just a pinch of pepper . If you plan to make white sauce pasta , you donot need to add any masala . Just salt and it’s done .

Now mix everthing well , keep the flame low.

ITS TIME TO ADD BOILED PASTA

Once everthing is mixed well , add oregano and chilli flakes according to quantity .


Now you are all set to have Yummy and Healthy Pasta
