Annyeong hassaeyo everyone. Its Hello in korean. I really am a fan of korean kdramas and even there foods. So now we will make one of there favorite cuisine of all time especially when you do samgyup.This cuisine was "KIMCHI" and now I am going to try making it with the help of my cousin. Its our first try in making this. So we hope Everything will turns right. There's some ingredients there that its not actually the right one because we cant found it here on our place. So we think of something that could be possible as a replacement for that ingredients. And thanks God it has. So it was indeed hard for us to make this thing comes alright,because even the ingredients are not all the exact one. But we will try. Theres no harm in trying remember. Now that we are all ready, lets now begin "MY VERY OWN HOMEMADE KIMCHI". โ˜บโ˜บโ˜บ

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 kg.chinese cabage
  • 3 gloves garlic
  • 1 pc.onions
  • 2 tbsp. of salt
  • onion leaves
  • chili powder (instead of korean chili powder)
  • raddish
  • 2 cups of cornstarch(instead of glutinous powder)
  • 2 cups of water
  • 4 tbsp.patis (fish sauce)

PROCEDURE:

1.Washed the cabbage first and throw the damage one. Then cut it into half and another half and then cut again into 1 inch . Put it in a big container and pour the salt then mixed and set aside for awhile for 30 minutes.

2.After that washed also the radish then peel and cut it into small strips.

3.While we wait for 30 minutes for the cabbage to set lets cooked the cornstarch or glutinous powder. Put the caserole with cornstarch into the stove. Pour 2 cups of water. Stir it until it became a bit sticky. Please see attached photo for the texture. Once your done let it cool for a minute.

4.While we let the glutinous to cool. Lets cut garlic and onions into minced. And then cut also the onion leaves into small strips.

5.30 minutes is now over and were all set. So the cabbage and wash it in a running water so that the salt we put earlier well be gone and let it drain.

4.Now lets do the Kimchi Sauce
โ– In a big bowl or container lets combined all the ingredients together.

  • First the garlic,onions and onion leaves.

  • Put the patis or fish sauce

  • Put the Cornstarch if it is already cool.

  • chili powder (it depends on you how spicy you want it to be). Then mixed.

  • Put the cabbage and raddish. After that mixed thoroughly to combined well.

5.Your done and Ready to Served. Tips: it is best when chill first even for just 3 hours before serving.

Just like that everyone. Its very easy to make. And thanks God it perfect and so yummy. My first try is a success. So what are you waiting for make some like this if you are truly a korean fan just like me. The taste was really good and so hot. Which makes this kimchi more tasty.๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜˜
