This dish that I want to share with you was my first try. I hope this will turn okay. I just saw this in a television. But not all ingredients are all I have.I just used what I have in our kitchen. This dish called "RELYENONG SQUID". And in preparing it, I give it a little twist. Instead of grilling it, I fried it. And I think some of you here know already how it was prepared. Hope what am I doing is right. Now lets begin since were all set.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1/4 kg.Squid
- 2 cups oil (not included in the photo)
- 1 pc. onions
- a pinch of black pepper
- 3 gloves garlic (
- a pinch of salt and seasoning to taste(not included in the photo)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 5 grams oyster sauce
- 1 pc. Carrots
- 4 pcs. calamansi
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cups shredded meat(pork giniling
PROCEDURE:
(Marinate)
1.Washed the squid thoroughly and removed the "ata" the one that caused black color and the eyes.
2.In a bowl put the squid and this 3 ingredients soy sauce,oyster sauce and calamansi put them together then combined well. And after that let it set a side for a while. And while were doing it lets do the filling.
(Filling)
1.Peel,cut or grate the carrots. (What I did is that the half of the carrots I grated it and the other half I cut it into cubes.)
2.Heat a pan with oil in a low heat.
3.Saute garlic and onions until the color turns to golden brown.
4.Put the shredded meat.And then cover the pan until it cooked.
5.Put the carrots.
6.Add all the remaining ingredients. (Salt,black pepper,seasoning)
7.Mixed thoroughly to combined well. Then your done. Removed it from the pan and let it cool for a second.
8.Once it already cool get the marinated squid and fill it with this sauted pork shredded meat.
9.After you filled it, put a toothpick to lock. Just like I did in the photo.
10.In a plate put the flour and lets dredge the filled squid into it before frying.
11.Since were done coating it. It's FRYING time. Fry the coated filled squid in a medium heat. To.maintain the tenderness when both sides are already color brown removed it already from the pan.
12.Were done and ready to Served.
Thats it everyone. Its turn great. Thanks for the help of my boyfriend @jearo101 for assisting me in cooking this dish. It's easy and simple but it has a long process. The taste is so damn good. The tenderness of the squid and its crispy thing as you bite it uhhh Im so crazy for it. It's so yummy. The meat and the squid really blend each others.๐๐โค Anyway you can also cooked Relyenong Squid too in different ways. You can do it with a twist its up to you. And before my cooking thing ends let me remind you that in every step of your session of cooking always remember this:
