This time I want to share about the food I made last night. I made Egg Tofu with Chilli Ticks (Cabai Caplak).

What ingredients are needed to cook it?

  • 1 egg
  • 4 pieces of tofu
  • Flour (I used Kobe brand Bakwan KRESS flour)
  • Chilli ticks (cabai caplak)
  • Salt
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • Water
  • Sugar
  • Cooking oil
  • Sauce

Put chilli ticks (cabai caplak), 1 clove of garlic, salt, sugar, some water in the mortar.

Crush ("ulek") them.

Crack 1 egg. Beat it.

Mash 4 pieces of tofu with a fork.

I used Kobe brand Bakwan KRESS flour.

Enter the flour, the ingredients that have been crushed, and the beaten egg to the tofu that has been mashed. Stir them.

I added the flour again because I felt it was lacking. Stir again. Then it becomes a dough of Egg Tofu with Chilli Ticks (Cabai Caplak).

Heat the cooking oil.

Fry pieces of the dough in hot cooking oil.

Remove when it's cooked.

Serve with sauce.
