Hello everyone! How are you today? Jam is a fun way to turn fruits into desserts or toppings, pineapple does not escape from that idea, highlighting its softness and how delicious it tastes when we spread it on foods preferably like bread or crackers, getting a contrast between salty and sweet. Getting up and making toast with homemade jam for breakfast is an option to be valued.
-1 Large Pineapple.
-6 tablespoons of American Cornstarch.
-8 tablespoons of sugar.
-Half cup of water.
-1 cinnamon clove.
We will begin the preparation process by washing and peeling the pineapple, then we will cut it into small pieces, including the center of the fruit, then we will blend the content with the half cup of water.
Strain the result of the blender, keeping the juice and discarding the material from the strainer.
In half a cup of water, add 6 tablespoons of cornstarch, followed by adding the 8 tablespoons of sugar and the cinnamon cloves. Therefore, we beat this mixture for about 3 minutes.
In a deep pot we will add the pineapple juice and the homogeneous mixture, over low heat (slow), letting it boil for at least 25 minutes, stirring it constantly, since this way we avoid that the content sticks to the pot hindering the development of the dessert. You should obtain a viscous touch (form) similar to gelatin.
At the end of the cooking time, we will turn off the stove, then we will put it in a mold, waiting patiently for it to cool down.
Ready to consume the fantastic pineapple candy, I have noticed that many people call it jelly or even other people know it as jam, by the way, how do you call this cool dessert? See you in a future recipe.

¡Hola amigos!
