Hello foodies....

On this occasion I would like to introduce a vegetable dish that is quite familiar in my province, Aceh-Indonesia.

We named it Cicah or better known as Sayur Urap Aceh. This cicah vegetable is a recipe that has been served for generations, besides how to make it easy, this vegetable made from kates flowers and sweet potato leaves has a distinctive original taste and is slightly bitter, this is quite popular among our people.

Well, foodies friends, this time, let's learn how to make this Acehnese specialty vegan.

The spices and ingredients that must be prepared to make this Aceh cicah are very simple. Here are the ingredients to prepare

1/2 kg Papaya flower
1 pc grated coconut
100 gr red onion
10 pcs chili
2 pcs candlenut
2 pcs lemongrass
7 pcs sunti acid
Salt to taste
Few lime leaves

The steps for presenting Cicah Aceh are as follows;

The first thing to do is clean the papaya flowers and sweet potato leaves, then boil them. Should not be mixed when boiled, because the bitter taste of papaya flowers will affect other vegetable ingredients.

Grind or grind the prepared spices, you can use a blender or manually. I chose to manually grind using a traditional mill for a more perfect taste.

Nah, selanjutnya tiriskan sayuran yang telah direbus tadi, setelah itu campurkan dengan bumbu yang sudah disiapkan. Aduk hingga merata dan sajikan bersama santap siang.
