Mutton Galauti Kabab

This Awadhi kebab has regal origins stemming from the needs of a toothless, wizened Nawab. Starting with the melt-in-the-mouth consistency, the horde of spices blended into the repeatedly pulverised (18 times, so they claim) Keema (Cinnamon, star anise, cloves, etc.) the saffron infused sheermal naan base & the pleasant after-taste of fine mutton, ghee & saffron coating the tongue, everything is executed without fault.

Chicken Caesar Salad

A composite salad crafted by an Italian chef Caesar in Mexico, this is an interplay of a sour, cheesy sauce & fresh lettuce with croutons & lightly seasoned chunky chicken. The sauce has a sharp pungent aroma of mustard & Parmesan cheese, & certainly isn’t for the faint tongued. Though generally considered among the “bland continental” fare, the musty aroma of the dressing, when mixed with the 2 kinds of lettuce & the white meat, is anything but boring.

Goat Cheese Gnocchi

Gnocchi are little boiled dumplings of potato & wheat in which here, a salty smidgen of goat cheese was stuffed. We chose spicy Parmigiana for the sauce(a great choice), & this was imbibed with Parmesan cheese, olive oil, tomatoes, garlic, rosemary & basil, also getting hotter with successive bites, indicating some insidious red chilli as well.
