This is the main leaf so i take it seriously. Wash the bitterleaf very well. So many love their bitterleaf to be very bitter while some like to wash off the bitterness. This is as you want.
In here now, i bought this already washed and all i will do is to wash it again, squeeze off the water, and then i slice it.
I love preparing my stuffs first before getting into the cooking.

Likewise, you wash it thoroughly and slice it too. Make it tiny as you can, be careful of thy hands..
This is how tiny i could cut mine

This are the ingredients that you have to wash also very well, lest you may not enjoy the food because of sand or particles of the Periwinkle.

In brief, these are my already prepared ingredients, hope you understand it well.

Yes when all is done
Set my cooking gas on,
Put my pot on it, steam my canda, fish and Periwinkle very well, to make it have some sweet taste..

Then after steaming, pour my waterleaf into it and cover it, allowing it to steam properly and boil, while you apply the oil.

When it boils well, i apply all spices and every other thing including the melon, then let it steam well

What is left is to put the final leaf (bitterleaf)

Taste to know if it is okay (mmmm, tasty) as you so desire.
Lastly

I put my bitterleaf and then leave it to steam a little and boom, its done!
