Make our own bean sprouts at home during the pandemic

Hello everyone, how are you? This is the 20th day we are not allowed to leave the house according to the "not leaving home" directive of the city government. And it's time for us to think about how to self-supply clean vegetables because of the lack of supply from outside. Below is how we made our own bean sprouts from green beans.

Step 1 | Soak green beans

Put the grean beans in a pot, then pour the water in until all the beans are submerged and soak them overnight.

Step 2 | Incubate the beans in a wet cloth

Spread a wet cloth over a flat basket, then spread the green beans that have been soaked from the night before on half of the cloth. Then fold the cloth so that the beans are incubated between two layers of wet cloth. Then cover the basket with a piece of black paper to prevent the beans from being exposed to light and place the basket in a dry place.

Step 3 | Harvest the bean sprouts

After 2 days, we can harvest the bean sprouts to prepare for delicious meals. The feeling of uncovering the basket and seeing the lush bean sprouts is exciting. And here are our results.
