I'm back with new recipe.Because it is still close to Eid al-Adha which is related to meat, then I will share recipes that use meat again. It's called tongseng, Maybe some of you are still unfamiliar with this food. So, I'm going to explain a little bit about this.
Tongseng is a type of curry with a more "sharper" seasoning. Tongseng pada umumnya menggunakan daging kambing, meskipun ada pula tongseng daging sapi dan kerbau. Tongseng is considered a typical food of the Solo, Magelang and surrounding areas, but there is also a variation of tofu tofu Tongseng in Kebumen. What I'm going to share this time is the recipe for the mutton tongseng, a typical solo. For lovers of mutton, it is mandatory to try this food. Okay, since I'm already really excited so let's get started!
THE INGREDIENTS
500 grams Lamb
Cabbage leaves(coarsely sliced)
1/4 pieces green tomatoes (cut according to taste)
chilies (According to taste)
8 tablespoon of Sweet soy sauce
5 pieces Bay leaves
1 sheet lime leaves
3 pieces Lemongrass (bruised)
1 stickGinger, bruised
GROUND SPICES:
4 cloves of shallots
3 cloves of Garlic
3 Candlenuts
3 pieces of red chilies
1 teaspoon of Coriander
1/2 Nutmeg
1 teaspoon of Sugar
1,5 teaspoon of Salt
1/4 teaspoon of Pepper
STEP BY STEP
Step 1
Cut the goat meat into cubes and wash it clean
Step 2
Cut other ingredients according to taste and wash it
Step 3
Heat a few tablespoons of cooking oil to fry the ground spices.
Step 4
Add other ingredients such as lime leaves, bay leaves, lemongrass, and ginger and mix well.
Step 5
Add the mutton and all the spices such as salt, sugar, and soy sauce. Then stir until it changes color.
Step 6
Pour water into it, then cook over medium heat until the mutton is tender and the water is reduced.
Step 7
After the water has reduced and the mutton is tender, add the green tomatoes and cabbage.
Step 8
Stir well, cook for a few minutes until the cabbage and tomatoes are slightly wilted and then turn off the stove. After that serve this.
