Hello, Friends especially Foodies!

This time I would like to share about one of mom’s favorite Padangnese Restaurant which was located not far from the hospital where mom checked up recently. The restaurant itself was modest and not large. Here how it looked like from the outside

Although it was small and modest but mom likes the food from this restaurant, mostly were tasty cause the owner who also could cook very well (she is a chef here too) came from Padang, where the dishes in this restaurant came from.

Like usually mom said hello to the owner, and she then put the menu we chose on our plates.

You could see that they had many kind of food from beef rendang until roasted chicken, they also had potato fritters, egg, and other things. As always they also had authentic green chilli paste plus some authentic vegetables like cassava leaves and also jackfruit.

Here what we had for the lunch

Mom ordered their gulai egg, potato fritter and rice, while me, I ordered their authentic beef rendang and potato fritter, also with rice. Both also got their green chilli and vegetables for free on our plates. Btw because the potato fritter was so delicious, mom even ordere an extra one.

How was the taste and flavour of our lunch?

Like usually they had the best dishes here:
Beef rendang – soft but tasty in spicy and savory, you must try it! This is one of our favorite menu here.
Gulai egg – cooked with coconut milk, it had tasty savory flavour. The egg was fresh too.
Potato Fritter – had savory flavour and so tasty. Best one! This is also one of our favorite, especially for mom.

And guess how much we paid for our lunch? It was 47K IDR or just around 3.5 USD. Affordable, right?

So wanna try the authentic padangnese rice here too?
