Hoy hicimos una parrilla en casa. De vez en cuando debemos darnos un gusto y la verdad no gastamos tanto en hacer la parrilla.
- Today we made a grill at home. From time to time we have to treat ourselves and the truth is that we do not spend so much on making the grill.
Para hacer la parrilla necesitamos:
pollo.
carne.
sal.
pimienta.
ajo.
cebolla.
cilantro.
repollo.
zanahoria.
yuca.
To make the grill we need:
chicken.
meat.
Salt.
Pepper.
Garlic.
onion.
coriander.
cabbage.
carrot.
cassava.
Lo primero que vamos a hacer es pelar la yuca y cortarla, para colocarla en agua hervida y cocinarla.
- The first thing we do is peel the cassava and cut, to put it in boiling water and cook.
Bueno ahora vamos a cortar la carne y el pollo. Y lo vamos a condimentar con sal, pimienta, ajo y cebolla y lo vamos dejar por un rato.
- Well now we are going to cut the meat and the chicken. And we are going to season it with salt, pepper, garlic and onion and we are going to leave it for a while.
Para cocinarlo lo colocamos en un sartén con un poco de agua.
- To cook it, we place it in a pan with a little water.
Y lo vamos a cocinar hasta que quede bien dorado el pollo y la carne.
- And we are going to cook it until the chicken and meat are well browned.
También vamos a hacer una ensalada comenzamos rallando la zanahoria, y picar finamente el repollo.
- We are also going to make a salad. We start by grating the carrot, and finely chop the cabbage.
A esta ensalada también le vamos a agregar cebolla y cilantro picados finamente.
- To this salad we are also going to add finely chopped onion and coriander.
A esta ensalada me gusta agregarle un poco de azúcar. A parte de la sal.
- I like to add a little sugar to this salad. Apart from the salt.
Y por último agregamos mayonesa a la ensalada.
- And finally we add mayonnaise to the salad.
