FOODlog #382: Fish Noodle Soup with Preserved Vegetables

Wife cooked a super delicious meal today. This is one of my favorite dishes that she makes and what a nice day to have it on a cold rainy day today.

She cooked some milk broth fish noodles today. The fish used today was barramundi and then loaded with preserved vegetables, tomatoes and some slices of ginger. For the broth we used leftover soup from yesterday and also a can of Evaporated milk which gives it the white hue and milky color. This gives it a nice savoury, tangy, and sweet balance to the whole dish.

The noodles we used meesuah today. Its my favorite kind of Chinese style noodles. I like the texture and the way it can soak up the soup. Every mouthful is super delicious.

I finished everything including every drop of the liquid gold soup. Really can't get enough of the delicious broth. What a delicious meal for lunch today!
