Rendang Chicken!
This is from an Indonesian restaurant. It was very flavorful and fragrant from the coconut milk and all the herbs and spices cooked with the chicken. Was rich and hearty and a really good rendang.
It taste a little different from Malaysian rendang. This one was perfectly balanced with the chicken flavors as the spices weren't overpowering the chicken and you get to taste the flavor of the chicken. It was just the right amount of herbs and spices that made the dish super savory and appetising. The thing that really stood out was the richness from the coconut milk. They were generous with it as you could taste the creaminess and richness from the coconut milk.
Wasn't too spicy so you get to enjoy lots of the rendang gravy with the rice and chicken.
I ate it with rice which is what it's normally served with to soak up all those delicious rendang gravy.
