To prepare this dish, I first set out to gather the ingredients, chicken in pieces, vegetables (peppers, onion, chives, paprika and cabbage); also use pumpkin, potatoes, ocumo, two liters of chicken broth and seasonings (salt, pepper, oregano and paprika).
Para preparar este platillo, primero me dispuse a reunir los ingredientes, pollo en pedazos, verduras (ajíes, cebolla, cebollino, pimentón y col ); también utilice calabaza, patatas, ocumo , dos litros de caldo de pollo y condimentos ( Sal, pimienta, orégano y paprika).
Initially, place the chicken broth in a pot with the chicken and bring to a boil for a few minutes.
Inicialmente, coloque el caldo de pollo en una olla con el pollo y deje hervir unos minutos.
I added the chopped pumpkin, potatoes and ocumo, let them cook until they soften.
Adicioné la calabaza, patatas y ocumo picados , dejamos cocinar hasta que se ablanden.
I sautéed the vegetables, and seasoned with salt, oregano, pepper, and paprika, then poured the sauté into the broth and let the flavors meld.
Sofreí los vegetales, y condimenté con sal, orégano, pimienta y paprika, luego vertí el sofrito en el caldo y deje que los sabores se combinen.
Finally, I added the cabbage and let it cook for a few minutes, we can turn off the soup and let it sit for a couple of minutes.
Finalmente, agregué el col y deje cocinar unos minutos, podemos apagar la sopa y dejar reposar un par de minutos.
