A beautiful evening at the Mode Japanese restaurant 🍱🍣🥡

In recent months my passion for sushi was born, although I don't particularly love fish or sea food but I have always been very intrigued by the many appetizing dishes and very attractive compositions. Last night, together. To a couple of friends, we booked at the Mode, a Japanese restaurant that opened not so long ago but already has an audience of numerous users so booking is mandatory, also due to the stringent rules of the pandemic.

The restaurant is very large and we arrived on time, having booked quite early, the seats were still largely empty. After about half an hour the place filled up and many people, without reservations, were invited to leave the place

The new provisions provide that the menu is only online and can be consulted on the restaurant's Facebook page. Although I am not a fan of sea food, I love salmon and tuna, and here there are many specialties to taste like Sashimi and Nigiri, or Uramaki with all the specialties and variations.

All dishes are served in an orderly and elegant way, on bamboo wooden plates or very beautiful ornamental plates. The formula chosen All You Can Eat allows you to order and eat all the dishes you want, paying a fixed price of 23 euros, excluding drinks. However, in the case of uneaten food there is a penalty and it is necessary to pay the cost of the single course.

My strategy is to order a little at a time, there is in fact no time limit and it is possible to order several times. The menu is very rich and even those who do not like raw fish can order many hot dishes such as Ramen i Nuddles, delicious hot and spicy soups, very welcome in the colder periods.

The restaurant is very large and in the center of a room a flowering cherry tree has been installed, not true, but somehow conveys the very relaxing Japanese ambiance. Behind the long workbench, the cooks continuously prepare the dishes to be served, tireless and repeated movements, precise and orderly.

During the summer, the restaurant has a large outdoor area where customers can sit comfortably and children can run around on a large pedestrian walkway. Last summer I ate outside a couple of times and it was a truly beautiful dining experience. The waiters are really nice and efficient and often pass by the tables to take away the empty trays and plates.

I really recommend a dinner at the Mode restaurant if you are also a lover of Japanese cuisine, I'm sure you won't regret it.
