Hello Foodies,

Today I'd like to introduce you to a foodie hotspot we visited a few weeks ago on Awaji Island 🏝️ in Japan.

Awaji Chef’s Garden
Awaji Island is developing really quickly. It seems that they have been using the downtime to develop a number of attractions in the area. One such development is a great place to eat and hang out called Awaji Chef’s Garden.
According to a private blog called HyogoJapan.com which provides information about places to visit in Hyogo Prefecture in English,

Awaji Chefs Garden is a multi-restaurant facility with outdoor dining, live music and beautiful views of the bay and Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge. The brightly-coloured shipping containers have been converted into small restaurants; 15 in total.

This video does a good job of showcasing the concept and atmosphere of the location.

Location Layout. Each letter of the alphabet A to O is a colorful container housing a restaurant. There are 15 restaurants on location, each specializing in their own delicious food.

Awaji Burger (Container H)
We had the Awaji burger 🍔 atcontainer H. The burger had buns, beef, Awaji sweet onion, cheese and bacon 🥓. We had it with fries and oolong tea, peach 🍑🥤 and apple juice over ice. It was really good and the person that took our order spoke to us in English.
