Hive Top Chef - Cilung With 3 Ingredients

Warm greetings to all of us, Hivers!
I'm really excited about the hive top chef this time, a challenge from @Qurator that makes me really happy. The challenge this time is to make a delicious dish made of only 3 ingredients. A challenge that looks easy, but it's quite difficult to think of what ideas to come up with. Until finally it occurred to me to make a simple meal that I often ate when I was in school, often sold by an old man in front of the school in a small cart, but there were so many buyers.

Cilung, an abbreviation of the word "aCI di guLUNG" with English "tapioca rolled, with egg". This food is very simple, delicious and cheap, if you eat it, you will remember a glimpse of your childhood when you were in school. Cilung is a food full of spices, because there are many spices that play an important role in making the high taste of cilung.

But, I made a different cilung than usual, I used the very famous Vietnamese rice paper, lately I like to use rice paper to make healthy food, such as vegetable salad wrapped in rice paper. So that there is a lot of leftover rice paper that I can use well to make this recipe.

Even though this is a trial that I just made, but the end result of this food is amazing, Hivers can use this recipe at home, especially if you have rice paper that you can use, try this recipe, recook and eat with friends, partner or family. Cilung Recipe 3 Ingredients



To make cilung, it's a good idea to prepare some materials and tools and seasoning that will be needed. Use the spices you have in the kitchen!


Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 scallion
  • Vietnamese rice paper

Seasoning: (additional) Chili sauce, barbecue seasoning, salt, pepper and chicken stock powder. (can use one of them), use a skewer.

How to make cilung 3 ingredients:

  • Beat the eggs and add a little salt, avoid using too much salt, because the cilung will use other seasonings.

  • Thinly slice the spring onion, use for sprinkling on the cilung.

  • Prepare water in a plate, soak rice paper in water for 3 seconds, then drain.

  • Heat a non-stick wok pan, add soaked rice paper, then sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of eggs and scallions, season with pepper, barbecue seasoning and chili sauce.

  • Roll with a skewer, then remove and serve.
