Feliz comienzo de semana gente de Hivee!! Les cuento que el día de ayer salí con mi papá a probar las qu se dicen ser las mejores chichas en estos momentos de mi ciudad
Caracas. Ambos estábamos antojados de Chicha y teníamos de verdad tiempo sin probar una así que por fin decimos salir y específicamente fuimos a un puesto que queda en una zona bastante céntrica de Caracas, como lo es Plaza Venezuela y Sabana Grande, decidimos ir a es lugar gracias a este Video que se hizo bastante viral en Tik Tok e Instagram hace unos meses.
Happy beginning of the week people of Hivee! I tell you that yesterday I went out with my dad to try what are said to be the best chichas at the moment in my city Caracas. We were both craving for Chicha and we had a really long time without trying one so we finally decided to go out and specifically we went to a stand that is in a very central area of Caracas, such as Plaza Venezuela and Sabana Grande, we decided to go to this place thanks to this [Video](https://www.instagram.com/reel/CQmJNsshovJ/?utm_medium=copy_link) that became quite viral on Tik Tok and Instagram a few months ago.
Para los que no son de Venezuela, La Chicha es una bebida dulce típica del país hecha a base de arroz o pasta y leche, a la que se le pone como toppings tradicional leche condesada, canela y chispas de chocolate. A mi personalmente y me atrevo a decir que a todos los venezolanos nos gusta que esta bebida esté bien espesa y en base a eso se puede calificar que tan buena es o no.
For those who are not from Venezuela, La Chicha is a typical Venezuelan sweet drink made from rice or pasta and milk, which is topped with condensed milk, cinnamon and chocolate chips. I personally and I dare to say that all Venezuelans like this drink to be very thick and based on that you can qualify how good it is or not.
Por suerte nosotros no tuvimos a taantas personas por delante, como el caso del video que les mencioné, pero igual tuvimos que esperar y lo único fue que yo cargaba sandalias bajitas ese día y como no estoy tan acostumbrada a ese tipo de calzado estar parada tanto rato hizo que me quedaran doliendo mis pies a final del día jaja, pero la espera valió la pena, se mató el antojo y estaba bastante rica la chicha de verdad.
Now, as the title says, I was in line for an hour to try after much as I mentioned, a chicha. This is a good business here in Venezuela so I tell you that it is a typical drink, very rich for snacking mainly, or having breakfast with it, as it is very popular, and the stand that I mentioned a few months ago became so famous that there were queues of up to 100 or more people to buy it, that is, a CRAZY thing to do hahaha. Yesterday I had the chance to hear a girl who is part of the business say that even if it was raining, people stayed to wait and that there were days when the lines were so long that they could occupy an entire block, on the one hand excellent that her business is so successful, but on the other hand, you really have to be mentally prepared to spend hours in a queue to drink a chicha hahaha.Luckily we did not have so many people in front of us, as in the case of the video I mentioned, but we still had to wait and the only thing was that I was wearing low sandals that day and as I am not so used to that kind of footwear, standing for so long made my feet hurt at the end of the day haha, but the wait was worth it, it killed the craving and the chicha was really tasty.
Cada cierto tiempo yo me asomaba a ver cuanto faltaba y mi papá se reía jajaja, la verdad no me gusta esperar tanto y de paso quería tomarme ya mi broma jaja, pero fui paciente por supuesto. Allí en la foto pueden ver los precios, habían de 1, 2 y 3$, está allí también su usuario de Instagram para los que son de Caracas. Nosotros pedimos la de 1$ y la verdad el precio está bastante bien para la cantidad y calidad, se le podían agregar dos toppings aparte de la canela y leche condesada, esto es otra cosa que los caracteriza, que tienen variedad de toppings y esto le da otro gusto a la chicha. Yo la pedí con Flips y Cocosette (ambos dulces típicos del país tambien) y mi papá con Oreo y Flips.
Every once in a while I would peek in to see how much was missing and my dad would laugh hahaha, I really don't like to wait that long and I wanted to take my joke haha, but I was patient of course. There in the picture you can see the prices, there were 1, 2 and 3$, there is also their Instagram user for those who are from Caracas. We ordered the 1$ and the truth is the price is pretty good for the quantity and quality, you could add two toppings besides cinnamon and condensed milk, this is another thing that characterizes them, they have a variety of toppings and this gives another taste to the chicha. I ordered it with Flips and Cocosette (both typical sweets of the country as well) and my dad with Oreo and Flips.
Una vez que nos sirvieron nuestras chichas, fuimos hasta unos banquito a sentarnos y disfrutarlas. La chicha de ellos es a base de arroz y la verdad el sabor estaba bastante bueno y también la consistencia, lo único es que al final tenía mucho hielo y cuando este se va derritiendo la mezcla va perdiendo su sabor, pero fue ya al final del vaso así que no es algo tan grave. También me quedo con los toppings clásicos (canela, leche condesada y chispas de chocolate o colores) con los que le ponen ellos sabe bastante bien también, pero hay como que muchos sabores juntos y no se, prefiero lo clásico para la chicha en este caso. Por ejemplo a la de 2 y 34 le ponen 4 toppings y esto es opcional más no adicional, o sea que viene incluido y por un lado es como chimbo no pedirla completa si eso es lo que la caracteriza de ellos, entonces bueno, también la quise con todo para probar algo diferente y tener la experiencia, además que es la recompensa por esperar una hora para eso jaja.
Once we were served our chichas, we went to some benches to sit and enjoy them. Their chicha is rice based and the truth is that the flavor was quite good and also the consistency, the only thing is that at the end it had a lot of ice and when it melts the mixture loses its flavor, but it was already at the end of the glass so it is not such a big deal. I also prefer the classic toppings (cinnamon, condensed milk and chocolate chips or colors) with the ones they put in it, it tastes pretty good too, but there are too many flavors together and I don't know, I prefer the classic for the chicha in this case. For example to the 2 and 34 they put 4 toppings and this is optional but not additional, so it comes included and on the one hand it's like chimbo not to order it complete if that's what characterizes them, so well, I also wanted it with everything to try something different and have the experience, plus it's the reward for waiting an hour for it haha.

Fue un día diferente, disfruté mucho de mi Chicha, otro punto que le doy a favor es que no es para nada empalagosa, eso a mi me pareció excelente porque soy una persona que se empalaga rápido con lo dulce, y si es muy dulce puede que hasta ni me lo termine de comer o tomar, entonces para mi es importante, y tanto así que quedé con ganas de más jajaja, o sea, de ellos podría pedir el vaso de 2$ y tomármelo completo yo sola jaja.
Luego de eso seguimos paseando y tuve el chance de ver el atardecer, que se los comparto, yo me considero fan, los amo y tenía tiempo sin presenciar uno con una vista amplia.
It was a different day, I really enjoyed my Chicha, another point I give it in favor is that it is not at all cloying, that was excellent for me because I am a person who gets sick quickly with sweet things, and if it is very sweet I may not even finish eating or drinking it, so for me it is important, and so much so that I wanted more hahaha, that is, I could ask for a $2 glass of them and drink it all by myself haha.
After that we continued walking and I had the chance to see the sunset, which I share with you, I consider myself a fan, I love them and I had a long time without witnessing one with a wide view.
