Binjai Rambutan Fruits

Hello, Hive people. I hope you are always healthy and regularly consume fruits.

Rambutan Binjai or often also called Rambutan Brahrang has its own characteristics compared to rambutan in other areas. These characteristics are found in the small seeds, thick flesh, and sweet taste. It is called Rambutan Brahrang because of the large number of large black ants or Brahrang ants found in the rambutan.

Even the government of Binjai City built the Tugu Rambutan building. The monument was built by the local government to symbolize that Binjai is the city of rambutan. If you visit Binjai City during the rambutan harvest season, don't forget to taste the famous Binjai rambutan. In the harvest season, anyone can buy rambutan on the side of the road to the center of Binjai City.

Rambutan City is a nickname that deserves to be carried by Binjai City, because one of the cities located in North Sumatra Province is the largest producer of rambutan fruit in Indonesia. Generally, local people harvest rambutan traditionally. Yields can reach up to 2,000 tons per year.

In August 2021, the harvest of rambutan fruit in my backyard is enough to eat with family, friends, and share with neighbors. This year's harvest decreased compared to the previous year. There may be many influencing factors such as weather, climate, maintenance and so on.

We have two (2) rambutan trees in our backyard, but only one (1) tree is bearing fruit.
With this rambutan tree, we don't have to buy rambutan on the side of the road if we want to taste this sweet fruit.
