Well, for me this is the first time, although I know about this method many times from videos posted on social media. Maybe you guys already know about this?
I think this is unique. Uniqueness can always come from anywhere, including from the way we serve food or enjoy food. From innovative things about food, we actually get a lot of new sensations from these experiences.
Things I Didn't Plan
Actually, I didn't plan about sharing this method with you guys. Never thought at all to enjoy cakes this way.
A few days ago I got a beautiful cake from my friend @aswita. Honestly, that day I was very tired and I had no appetite at all to eat the cake that looks beautiful and delicious.
So I put the cake in the fridge first. I didn't even intend to post about the cake at first. Lol.
I feel very exhausted and don't force myself to do much. Actually, this is not physical exhaustion. This is more focused on fatigue which is thought that has been too much to think about cooking ideas.
Today I stopped thinking about cooking ideas (Even if they only worked for a moment). I took out the cake my friend gave me and took it to the back porch of the house.
I just cut the cake with a tablespoon, then devoured it into my mouth. Then the unexpected happened. This cake delicacy gave me a new idea. Looks like a delicious cake too sorry if I don't share it on my food blog. Finally, I have the idea to serve this cake with a glass. This idea was inspired by picnic videos circulating on social media. Back then they enjoyed the cake in a glass which was easier to carry around and didn't cause more mess.
Bringing a piece of cake with a glass
I finally share this with you. In my opinion, this way of enjoying this cake is indeed worth trying, especially for those of you who are often messy to eat cake with a plate.
This method is actually useful for those of us who eat cake while doing other activities. This method will be useless if we only eat cake without being accompanied by other activities.
For example, we eat cake while walking on the beach, or while chatting with our friends, or also while we are watching tv.
The glass has a higher indentation so it will help keep the cake from falling or falling apart like when we carry a cake with a dessert plate. At least this feels very useful to me.
Taking the cake directly with glass is practical, even though it looks a bit dirty on the side of the glass. This will be very helpful to carry the cake while we walk and or do other work. We only need to scoop the cake then, without having to fear the cake can easily fall and fall apart.
I also enjoyed this piece of cake that was brought in my glass. While gazing at the small forest on my back porch, the delicious cake slowly melted in my mouth to create happiness. :)
