Health benefits of Lhithodora Fruticosa (Sangria)

Hello, Hive Community!

On this day I want to continue sharing with the #natural community the various benefits that have for the body the Chinchamochina or sangria as it is usually known in the world of natural medicine and scientifically called Lhithodora Fruticosa, thanks to a renowned German scientist "August Heinrich Rudolf Grisebach, university professor and member of the German Academy of Natural Sciences. The first species of this incredible plant appeared in the Andes and South America, specifically in the area of Ecuador, Colombia and Venezuela, it contains glycosides and alkaloids, also contains tannin, silicic acids and oxalic acids.

The sangria plant is a small shrub with leaves that can reach about two centimeters, its flowers are pink or sometimes brown. It belongs to the genus of perennials, it is characterized by having multiple rough and woody branches, it can be differentiated in time: for example a young shrub has a straight structure and is covered with some whitish hairs, while when it has an adult stage its bark and skin is gray which tends to peel off. This wonderful plant has multiple benefits and therefore is said to have healing properties such as to prevent and combat anemia, migraines, menstrual cramps, blood purifying, chicken pox and even

Here are some of its benefits and how to use it for different diseases:

  • To prevent or combat anemia you should take an infusion with the flower of sangria and take three times a day, repeat twice a week; for this you simply place to make a tea with its leaf.
  • In the case of chickenpox is used as a bath and for this is placed a few leaves without the stem, placed in water and exposed to the sun, in just minutes the water will turn reddish color and the longer it turns vinotinto, there are those who boil it to make the bath. The bath with this plant relieves the skin from itching that can cause chickenpox.
  • To detoxify the blood, put some leaves of the plant to boil and add the glasses of water that will need to be taken per day and for the number of days. It is recommended twice a day a glass.

It is important to emphasize that when we use a plant as a medicinal option we should inquire and investigate about it because as well as it has benefits for the body it can also have contraindications, in this case the bloodletting for its components should be taken with caution so it is not recommended for pregnant women or in excess because it could cause stomach irritations.

We hope you liked this post and that the information is useful to take into account natural medicine as an alternative with caution. See you soon.
