On the other hand, I started with contemporary dance, and in the warm-up almost everything we did was hatha yoga and vinyasa yoga, what changed was the essence that the teacher gave of herself in the classes and, well like any teacher, she always gives something of themselves, in itself, that is what makes us unique when imparting and sharing knowledge, and in life in general. At the same time, I see an advertisement where they gave a 200-hour yoga certification, I had been in that search for a long time and like all beautiful law of attraction, the message of the universe came to me. I remember that I had just enough money, just enough to pay it and I literally ran, I ran before the quotas ran out and I was so excited that I remember today as if it were yesterday. That day was one of those days where everything smiles at you, where everything is in harmony, vibrating in love. Now, after arduous study, because the philosophy of yoga is not something that is learned in a certification, nor in 200 hours, nor in 500 hours, nor in the following. The philosophy of yoga takes a lifetime and part of the following to learn, and perhaps I am wrong in saying that it is learned, rather the appropriate term would be to put it into practice, I think that everything starts from there. That is the true yoga teacher, the one who puts into practice all that his mind has learned, the goal is to put the acquired learning into practice ... referring to the philosophy of yoga.
Well, I am in favor of preserving the traditional, because the foundations are always necessary to maintain them ... but life is leading me to open up a little to the new and I am currently giving aerial yoga classes, it is a different modality in yoga. My mission, at least that is how I want to see it for now, is to carry out the fusion of meditation, pranayama, hatha yoga, aerial dance and contemporary dance ... and thus preserve the traditional, because they are the bases and without the bases yoga would not be yoga, but something empty, something superfluous. So, we have to keep studying, believing in our life missions, appease the ego a little and feel more love, observing ourselves internally until we immerse ourselves in our being and let out our best version.
Namaste.
Lots of light and love.
