Maintain eye health with carrots, tomatoes and lemons

Today I will share recipes for health drinks for those of you who work using technological tools such as laptops, computers, cellphones and other technological equipment that emit radiation.Sophisticated equipment that we use without us knowing it can reduce the function of the eye. Therefore, we need food and drink intake that can help maintain the health of our eyes.

One of the nutrients we need to maintain the health of our eyes is vitamins, especially vitamin A. Vitamin A serves to help the body maintain healthy eyes and skin. Our bodies cannot produce vitamins, so we need vitamins from food and drink.

Some foods that are rich in vitamin A are poultry/bird eggs, salmon, mackerel, fish eggs, fish oil, poultry/bird liver, beef liver, goat liver, and cheese.

I always make raw fruit and vegetable juices. One of the juices that I always make is carrot juice combined with tomatoes and lemon.

We can eat carrots directly, how to scrape the carrot skin using a spoon / knife, then wash it clean and we can eat it immediately, don't forget to choose carrots that are dark orange and still young, so they are not difficult to chew πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.
Carrots are also very delicious when processed into juice,slightly sweet carrot taste suitable for juice, if you don't like the smell (because carrots have a slightly unpleasant smell), then we can mix it with other fruits/vegetables, I usually add red tomatoes to reduce the unpleasant smell of carrots.

in addition to maintaining eye health, the benefits of carrots that I know are to maintain heart health, maintain healthy skin, help the body's metabolism, because it is rich in fiber, carrots are very good for helping to keep blood sugar normal and helping the digestive system work

Tomatoes are usually used as vegetables as complementary ingredients to make chili sauce, stir fry or just serve as dessert. The taste of tomatoes is fresh, sweet and slightly sour, making tomatoes also very delicious for juice.
Tomatoes are also rich in fiber so it is very good for maintaining healthy skin, maintaining heart health, helping the digestive process and controlling blood sugar levels, besides that the vitamin content can be used as therapy to treat cancer.

Lemons are usually used as infused water, by cutting the lemon into several parts and then mixing it into drinking water.In addition,lemon juice is usually used to reduce the fishy smell of fish to be cooked, usually the fish is coated with lemon juice to reduce the fishy smell of fish.Lemon juice is also commonly added to various sauces, I usually add lemon juice to the shrimp paste and chili sauce that I make, we can also enjoy the fresh taste of lemons by adding lemon to the carrot and tomato juice that we make.

Lemons are rich in vitamin C. Vitamin C in lemons can help digestive health, increase endurance, help maintain healthy skin and heart. Regular consumption of lemon can also help you lose weight and prevent anemia.

The ingredients we need for eye health therapy are:
2 tomatoes
2 carrots
1 lemon


The additional ingredients we need are 500 mL drinking water and 1 tablespoon sugar (you can add or reduce the amount of sugar)


How to make it: first we scrape the skin of the carrot and we cut the lemon into 2 parts.


Then we wash all the ingredients and peel the lemon skin.We take half a lemon, so we only use 1/2 lemon.


Cut the carrots and tomatoes into smaller pieces, for easier blending. Oh yeah I don't use a juicer😁


it's time to put all the ingredients into a blender, blend everything until smooth.



After that we filter all the ingredients that we have blended.


This is our juice and the pulp, don't throw it away, because it's rich in fiber, so we can store it in the fridge and add it to make chili sauce.
