Hello Friends off Natural Medicine,
My friend and I moved to a new house since July last year by the time that the lockdown just happened here. Then we spent much time doing garden and found it very interesting and healthy. π
I would love to share what we have in our own garden: most of our veggetables are used to make salads and cooking for our daily mealsπ
- Mustard Leaf (1): we often use it to make "beef and mustard leaf rolls"
- Spring onion & Lemongrass: (2&4) If you are a fan of Asian cuisines, you know that we use lemongrass or spring onion for cooking a lot. One of my fav recipe with lemongrass is "Pork Pops on Lemongrass Sticks"
- The red plant (3): I'm not sure exactly the name but Nikki told me it's kind of Japanese salad.
- Betel leaf ( 5- Piper betle): we oftent use it to make "grilled rolls of beef wrapped up in the betel leaf" that's so yummy
Tomatoes -the best fruit in our garden. The plants are so easy to grow and very productive...!!! And here is a result of our fresh tomatoes havest What could be better than eating clean and delicious foods from your own garden π
We do have squash in the garden but I don't know what kind of squash we grow as there are a variety squash like pumpkin, buttercup, hubbard, etc. I hope it's pumpkin π
I do a reseach this plant in English name and it's known with many names such as Pigeon Wings, Blue Bell Vine, Blue Pea, Cordofan Pea and Darwin pea. I hope one of them that makes sense for you. We often make tea from this flower and I love it as its unbelievable health benefits and stunning colour :)
