Garden Update on July

Hi Gardeners,

What you plant in the garden in July?

My latest update on the garden was June; I was thinking of posting again we harvest some fruits next month. However, I'm invited by lovely gardeners dodovietnam and proto26 to join the July Garden Journal (thanks for the tag- guys ), I'm glad to show you the virtual garden tour today.🙂

Last month, we cleaned the backyard to find spots for your new trees: water lemon, okra, and bitter gourd. They are pretty big now but not produce yet.

Watermelon is considered a heat-loving plant, so it seems to grow fast.😉. The plant begins to pollinate and flower, we add potassium to the ground and water every day to make sure they will produce in 2 months later. I know that we can buy water lemon in the market (even very cheap), but we're very excited to wait for our fruits.

We had some rain and good weather the last few days. It's sunny again today but windy, not too bad

Do you see the tiny bitter gourd fruit in the following picture? Haha, not long to go, we can eat it. I know that many people never heard about "bitter gourd", but it's really healthy and good to try, as mentioned in my previous post. 😋

Okra seems to withstand high temperatures and drought and very easy to plant, so we don't need to do much. In addition, Oka is not only delicious to eat but also nutritious and beneficial for health. Why not plant it in the garden?

We still not yet give up on strawberries 😂 , but I do believe we wait forever to have fruits :) We put much effort into taking care of them, but it seems the same result- no fruits. It's ok-it's what it is :))

And Tina ( Nikki's niece), she has sent here as her parent are both working today and the Kindergarten still closes due to the restriction. At first, Tina scared of the Puppy Dog, but then they're getting closer and play with each other. We do enjoy their accompany today, just a bit difficult to handle 2 babies at the same time while Nikki busy cooking and I'm working on the computer :) However, it's fun and a great time. We're going to have a Pizza party together later in the garden :)
