En el post que antecede al presente, hablamos sobre la historia y el por qué de la celebración del Espíritu de la Navidad, festividad de origen celta que ha subsistido milenios y actualmente ha sido adoptado por muchos países en el mundo. Ahora bien, esta publicación está destinada a ofrecer un ritual sencillo para esta celebración. Cabe señalar que puede ser modificado de acuerdo al criterio y creencias de cada persona. - Mandarinas
- Velas, (anaranjadas, doradas, rojas, amarillas)
- Esencia de mandarina
- Una o dos hojas de papel
- Un lápiz
- Una tijera
- Un saquito de tela o una caja en donde guardar los deseos
- Una mesa con su respectivo mantel
- Comida para compartir en casa
Con este ritual se busca abrir las puertas de nuestra casa y nuestras vidas para recibir esta potente energía benéfica. Se inicia al menos un día antes, es decir, el 20 de diciembre, para lo cual es conveniente limpiar la casa, ordenarla, a fin de que el Espíritu de la Navidad entre fluidamente a los hogares, sin ningún obstáculo. Luego de la limpieza, es ideal hacer riegos con esencia de mandarina, desde la entrada hacia el fondo. Luego de limpiar nuestro hogar, es necesario nos efectuemos una limpieza energética y nos podemos aplicar esta misma esencia.
Para el día 21 de diciembre, es conveniente tener alguna comida especial para la cena, en donde se incluya algún plato dulce, para atraer la dulzura a la vida. No importa que no sea variada, abundante, copiosa, lo importante es que sea preparada con amor.
Esta comida se sirve en horas de la noche, para comerla ya sea con nuestra familia o solos. Se sirve en una mesa con un mantel limpio, bien arregladita. Si está al alcance de cada quien, pueden colocarse flores (amarillas, naranjas), y unas mandarinas, que son símbolos de abundancia y prosperidad. También es conveniente prender incienso y velas, preferiblemente anaranjadas, rojas, doradas o amarillas; pero cualquier color sirve, (excepto el negro o el marrón), lo importante es la intención con la cual las vayamos a encender.
También podemos incluir una figura del Espíritu de la Navidad, que se representa como es un señor barbudo, muy parecido a San Nicolás, pero que en vez de pantalones utiliza una túnica larga y tiene cornucopias de abundancia y sacos de a su alrededor. Hay personas que lo colocan en una bandeja con arroz, lentejas, mandarinas, cristales, monedas, como símbolos de prosperidad y crecimiento. Todo es válido, lo importante es que tenga valor para cada quien.
Si es posible y siempre que no implique riesgo, también es prudente abrir puertas y ventanas en señal de bienvenida.
Una vez servida la mesa, procedemos a elaborar una lista de deseos de bienestar, prosperidad y evolución, los cuales deben escribirse en el siguiente orden:
- Planeta, para Madre Tierra.
- Humanidad.
- Nuestro continente.
- Nuestro país.
- Nuestra familia y amigos.
- Para nosotros mismos.
Debe escribirse al menos uno por cada categoría, y hacerlo de forma consciente, con amor, sin egoísmo y con mucha fe. Cada deseo se escribe con cierta separación, ya que una vez finalizada la lista, se corta en tiras, cada una con un deseo, para luego introducirlas en una bolsita de tela o una cajita, y guardarlas en un lugar seguro. A lo largo del año, mientras se vayan cumpliendo las peticiones, se extraerá la cinta correspondiente y se quemará. Las que queden sin cumplir se queman días antes de la próxima celebración. Ya hecha la lista de deseos, procedemos a comer con alegría y agradecimiento la cena que hemos servido. Puede también hacerse un brindis con la bebida que deseen.
Quiero resaltar algo y es lo siguiente: Cada año sale un ritual nuevo, un color nuevo, un añadido nuevo, y esto no es más que moda, que marketing; lo importante aquí es que el ritual sea hecho con FE, sin angustiarnos, sin sentirnos menos porque no tengamos todo lo que se recomienda según la ocasión; de allí que lo haya explicado del modo más sencillo posible; y obviamente, es un ritual que puede ser modificado según el criterio, creencias y recursos de cada quien.

This ritual seeks to open the doors of our house and our lives to receive this powerful beneficial energy. It begins at least one day before, that is, on December 20, for which it is convenient to clean the house, order it, so that the Spirit of Christmas enters the homes fluently, without any obstacle. After cleaning, it is ideal to irrigate with tangerine essence, from the entrance to the bottom. After cleaning our home, it is necessary to carry out an energetic cleaning and we can apply this same essence.
By December 21, it is convenient to have a special meal for dinner, including a sweet dish, to bring the sweetness to life. It does not matter that it is not varied, abundant, copious, the important thing is that it is prepared with love.
This food is served at night, to be eaten either with our family or alone. It is served on a table with a clean, neat tablecloth. If it is within everyone's reach, flowers (yellow, oranges) and some tangerines can be placed, which are symbols of abundance and prosperity. It is also convenient to light incense and candles, preferably orange, red, gold or yellow; but any color works, (except black or brown), the important thing is the intention with which we are going to light them.
We can also include a figure of the Spirit of Christmas, which is represented as a bearded man, very similar to Saint Nicholas, but who instead of pants uses a long tunic and has cornucopias of abundance and sacks around him. There are people who place it on a tray with rice, lentils, tangerines, crystals, coins, as symbols of prosperity and growth. Everything is valid, the important thing is that it has value for everyone.
If possible and as long as it is safe, it is also wise to open doors and windows as a welcome sign.
Once the table is served, we proceed to develop a wish list for well-being, prosperity and evolution, which must be written in the following order:
- Planet, for Mother Earth.
- Humanity.
- Our continent.
- Our country.
- Our family and friends.
- For ourselves.
You must write at least one for each category, and do it consciously, with love, without selfishness and with great faith. Each wish is written with a certain separation, since once the list is finished, it is cut into strips, each one with a wish, and then placed in a cloth bag or a box, and stored in a safe place. Throughout the year, while the requests are being fulfilled, the corresponding tape will be extracted and burned. Those that remain unfulfilled are burned days before the next celebration. Once the wish list is made, we proceed to eat with joy and gratitude the dinner that we have served. You can also make a toast with the drink you want.
I want to highlight something and it is the following: Every year a new ritual comes out, a new color, a new addition, and this is nothing more than fashion, than marketing; The important thing here is that the ritual is done with FAITH, without worrying, without feeling less because we do not have everything that is recommended according to the occasion; hence I have explained it in the simplest possible way; and obviously, it is a ritual that can be modified according to the criteria, beliefs and resources of each person.
